Edward is a music graduate from the University of Oxford and an aspiring singer who is accomplished both as a soloist and an ensemble performer. He has performed with esteemed musicians such as Iain Burnside, and participated in masterclasses with celebrated figures such as Sir Thomas Allen. Edward performed multiple recitals with Oxford’s prestigious Eglesfield Musical Society, and in his second year won the Mendl-Schrama competition for singers and pianists. He has performed a variety of operatic roles including the Judge in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury, the role of Lescaut in a scene from Massenet’s Manon, and as a chorus member in RAO’s production of Carmen. Other stage highlights are the Count, Antonio and Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Simone in Gianni Schicchi. He has also performed solos from Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem, and Bach’s cantatas. Edward has been on multiple international tours and sung in commercial recordings and BBC radio 3 broadcasts. Edward currently studies voice with Raymond Connell.
